one of the new videos is of a stunning rose cube design, which Donal created. This design would look great with a monochromatic theme. You could use black baccara roses, these ones in the video are deep red Grand Prix. Black and white has always been quite difficult to achieve stylishly with flowers, but this look really suits it. Could be great for a New Years Eve wedding or party?! All the men in black tie and these stunning mirrored vases with cubes of roses on top. We uses a reflective round mirror but you can get square mirror tiles too. The petals are freeze dried from our range, also to match. There are a lot of roses used so to be honest this is not a low budget table centre. I don’t see why you couldn’t use different flowers .If you want the complete wow factor then it’s going to be worth it with roses. It stopped the show recently at Buxted Park as most talked about flower display.
The display itself is quite tall so not ideal for talking across the table, normally the informal rule is 17 inches or smaller ( will work out the metric!) or 21 inches or taller for table centres.
However the way round this is to get everyone to move seats between each course, get them mingling. Lets face it we all rush to the table plan at weddings hoping to be sat with our partners and friends or family but by moving everyone around it gets everyone socialising and then its not going to be such a problem if people can’t talk across the table so easily.
It’s worth bearing in mind as some people do find it annoying if there view is blocked by a huge arrangement – even though it looks stunning!
Another icebreaker is table quizzes when questions are set about the couple and each table competes against each other. Another way to break the ice, which we have noticed more and more, couples doing.
Lisa Devlin has provided us with more stunning pix too so will get them uploaded ASAP
